Add value & protection to your vehicle

Star Class’ Ceramic Coating process changes everything. It’s a major step forward in how cars are protected, using a liquid polymer that is applied by hand to the exterior of a vehicle. Unlike wax, the coating chemically bonds with the vehicle’s factory paint, creating a layer of protection. 

A Ceramic Coating creates a permanent or semi-permanent bond with a vehicle’s paint, meaning that it does not wash away or break down and does not require repeated application every few months.

APPLICATION

Ceramic coating is for both new cars as well as cherished classics. Admittedly, the application process is very specialized – there are several stages. Because of the strength and permanence of the coating, it’s essential to properly clean & restore the existing surface, according to it’s condition. This ensures the greatest bond & best appearance. Star Class has perfected this extensive, multi-stage process and has performed many applications on some of the finest vehicles in the area.

EASE OF CLEANING

Ceramic Coating repels water. Water will bead on the surface and slide off more easily. Mud and grime won’t readily bond to your vehicle’s paint, and when you wash your car, contaminants will be removed with less effort.

FEATURED VEHICLE

We were pleased to recently service this special 1997 SL500 for a client. This included a Ceramic Coating treatment. The result was incomparable protection and a tremendous enhancement to the finish, adding depth and luster. 

The year was 1997. The Huskers, led by Scott Frost, were in the process of defeating Tennessee 42-17 in the Orange Bowl for the National Championship. Meanwhile, over in Bremen, Germany, the folks at Mercedes-Benz were exporting a limited number of these special edition SL’s to a few excited owners. It celebrated the 40th anniversary of the iconic 1958 300SL Roadster.

This one in particular spent it’s heyday in Beverly Hills, where it only did 14,000 miles. The special edition “Crimson Metallic” paint was well-taken care of, but now all of that effort is preserved – under a strong layer of nano-ceramic protection. Glossy though it is, this car had no trouble putting up some impressive performance figures. It’ll get to 100mph in less that 15 seconds from a stand-still – thanks to the 5 liter, 32 valve V8.
